In July 2013, ABB Engineering (Shanghai) Ltd. and XCMSE signed the contract of skips for Zhengzhuang coal mine. The equipments are operated by Jincheng Anthracite Mining Group, founded in 1958 and based in Jincheng City, Shanxi, China.
The main shaft project entails the vertical shaft skips to hoist the coal to the surface. The main shaft, with a shaft diameter of φ6.0m and a hoisting height of 752.025m, is equipped with a pair of four-rope 40t coal skips. The skips, which have a cross-section dimension of 3370×1900(mm) and a height of 16.7m and a guide distance of 3500mm, are designed with cold-formed square tube steel guide and guided by the rollers. The skips will be loaded and unloaded from different sides. The fan-shaped skip door will be driven by external force.
This contract represents a further cooperation between ABB Engineering (Shanghai) and XCMSE, following the signing of contracts of hoisting conveyances for Menkeqing Coal Mine and Hulusu Coal Mine production shaft.
